Our Story

It’s simple, really. We want you to have a longer relationship with your garments.

Inspired by workwear, we design timeless (but contemporary) garments for everyday utility. Colour is at the core of what we do, using the natural world and culture around us to create pieces that enhance your wardrobe.

We work with textiles that are durable, wearable, and look great. Our garments have details that have proven useful for workers over centuries, from reinforced elbow patches and tool pockets to durable construction like felled seams and triple needle stitching.

We regularly visit our overseas manufacturers. Our suppliers meet stringent environmental and social requirements, follow fair labour practices, and adhere to rigorous environmental standards.

We do not claim to be sustainable, as we cannot replace all of the materials we use in our garments. We hate waste and avoid it in creative ways. From our free repair service to deadstock fabric initiatives, to buy back schemes, to second hand resell.

At Uskees, most of our garments are made in India, where we’ve built strong partnerships with skilled makers. We’ve also expanded production to include select pieces from Turkey, Portugal, and the UK, ensuring the same high standards of quality across all locations.
