Had so many lovely comments on the jacket, but the best one was this weekend at the Arsenal v Man City WSL game. We’re City fans (actually Sheff Utd fans but City are our other team) but we’re sat in the Arsenal end. When City scored the second we all cheered. 5 minutes later a man behind us walks back to his seat and said have City scored? And his pal said, Yeah. See that man in that beautiful pink jacket? He cheered!
No way! Squealed the man, that’s a shame I was going to ask him where his jacket is from.
After the game, a man tapped me on the shoulder and we chatted a bit about the game, where we’d travelled from (Sheffield) and where to get a good coffee from near the ground afterwards. He then asked where I got my jacket from, I told him
Was an Uskees jacket. He squealed again and said I’ve been wanting to get one these but I’ve been scared by the sizing, do you mind if I try yours on?
So, after the match I’m swapping jackets with some random Arsenal fan. It’s possibly the closet I’ll get to being a footballer getting asked to swap shirts at the end of a footy match.
