Every year Uskees partners with a charity. We’ve sponsored street art projects, campaigned for dog rescue centres; we even donate £1 from every return to Sow the City, a social enterprise that creates green spaces in urban places.

Now it’s the turn of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.

The LWT manages over 1,300 hectares of nature reserves in the north west UK. They protect vital woodland, wetland, heath and park, host education workshops for children and act as an advocate for nature, giving environments that are rarely listened to a more resonant public voice.

In aid of the LWT's important work, we’ve launched the Habitat Series, a capsule of 100% organic cotton T-shirts celebrating the natural world and the quiet lives it supports. A portion of proceeds from the inaugural city birds capsule will go to the LWT.

To support them elsewhere, please consider becoming a member, volunteering or donating. Those of you in the north west UK can attend the LWT's programme of events or visit your nearest wilderness, including three wonderful flagship reserves.

Brockholes
The LWT’s biggest and most diverse reserve is a former quarry transformed into a 250-acre wetland haven with a floating visitor centre and a network of trails.

Mere Sands
A mix of sylvan glades, lakes and meadows, this woodland haven is an ideal place to explore wildflowers, fungi, birds, mammals and more.

Lunt Meadows
A stone age archaeological site on the banks of the River Alt, Lunt Meadows reed beds ponds and pools make it a magnet for birdwatchers all year round.
