This piece is inspired by the time-tested style and substance of vintage chore jackets. Designed for manual workers to wear over their overalls, the chore jacket features pleats on the reverse and tucks around the elbow to allow for extra movement. The contrasting organic cotton cord collar adds interest and comfort to a piece which will mould to your shape wear after wear.

The #3025 unlined canvas chore jacket in charcoal features:

  • 535gsm organic cotton canvas
  • GOTS approved fabric
  • organic cotton 11-wale cord collar in contrast colour
  • Uskees deadstock metal buttons
  • one flap pocket, three patch pockets
  • pleat on reverse and tucks around elbow for movement
  • heavy canvas will mould to shape of body over time

Disappointed

I returned this item as it failed to match my expectations. It was too stiff and heavy. As such it gave a rather military and formal feel to the garment. Additionally I thought the picture of the item did not accurately reflect the product.

I am dissapointed to hear that the chore coat didn't work out for you.
You are correct, the garment is a heavy weight canvas at over 500gsm. It does feel stiff and heavy, but this is intentional. It is designed to withstand heavy wear and work. The fabric will soften over time and will 'mould' to fit.

The garment in the images is the same garment.
